October 11, 1883: Charter for Olive Branch Lodge No. 269, F.&A.M. was granted by the Grand Lodge of California
March 9, 1883-Nov 11, 1886: Olive Branch Lodge first met at the Goldman Building; northeast corner of Tulare Ave. and Front (‘J’) Street
Nov 12, 1886-May 5, 1887: Due to Downtown Tulare fire, Olive Branch met at Central School on Tulare Avenue (current site of Tulare City Historical Museum)
May 6, 1887-Unknown: Olive Branch met at rebuilt Goldman’s Hall (the Gill Building); northeast corner of Tulare Ave. and Front (‘J’) Street
1890: Several Masonic Brothers left Olive Branch in order to help start what is now known as Porterville-Lindsay Masonic Lodge #303
1891: Several Masonic Brothers left Olive Branch in order to help start what is now known as Delano-Wasco Masonic Lodge #309
Unknown –Dec 17, 1918: Olive Branch met at Shultz Hall; corner of Kern Ave. and Front (‘J’) Street
Dec 17, 1918-1925: Olive Branch met at the Ryan Building, upstairs 138/140 South ‘K’
1920: Several Masonic Brothers left Olive Branch in order to help start Corcoran Lodge #490
Late 1924: Masons sold property at corner of ‘L’ and Tulare for the site of the majestic Tulare Theatre
June 14, 1925-Present: Olive Branch purchased the American Legion Building (Pratt Building) and remodeled it for permanent meeting place. Built in 1885, it is the oldest surviving commercial building in Tulare today
June 2, 1959: Masons purchased property to the west of Masonic Lodge (corner ‘H’ and Tulare) for parking
July 7, 1959: Property to the south of the Masonic Lodge was donated to the Lodge (used for much needed expanded parking)
1970s and 1980s: Extensive exterior and interior remodeling of Lodge building
1983: Olive Branch Lodge celebrates its Centennial
1990: 70 year old Corcoran Lodge #490 merged with Olive Branch Lodge 269
Early 1990s: Elevator installation
September 30, 1995: First cornerstone laying in the history of Olive Branch Lodge, new Tulare Police Department building, South M. Street
2006: Laid cornerstone for new Tulare Fire Station 63; North M. Street
